The People´s Deputies of Ukraine took into account that the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine made arrangements for the social security due to the fixation of tariffs for gas and public utility services.   

 

Pursuant to the Resolution, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine shall ensure that the rate of compulsory payment for the public utility services, including the payment for gas, decreases from 15 to 10 per cent of the average monthly total income for the families consisting of pensioners, persons with disabilities and minors, and from 20 to 15 per cent for other families including the able-bodied citizens.

 

The Cabinet of Ministers jointly with the local authorities shall adjust the housing subsidies granted as of 1 August 2010 to the rates of payments for the public utility services including the payment for liquefied gas, solid and liquid home heating oil, without prior citizens´ appeals.  

 

In conformity to the Law "On the State Budget of Ukraine for 2010", within 1 October - 1 December, the Cabinet of Ministers shall increase the rates of minimum subsistence level, minimum wage, minimum retirement pension, official salary of the first wage grade of the Unified Public Sector Labour Tariff Scale, effecting due payments of the increased pension, wages of the public sector workers and all types of state aid.    

 

The draft State Budget for 2011 shall envisage the increase of the rates of minimum subsistence level, minimum wage, minimum retirement pension, official salary of the first wage grade of the Unified Public Sector Labour Tariff Scale since 1 January 2011.

 

Pursuant to the Resolution, the Cabinet of Ministers shall report on implementation of this Resolution to The Verkhovna Rada by 10 October 2010.
